Background
To protect and promote the interest of Nepalese Nationals and to provide them different consular services, employed in Western Region of Saudi Arabia, Government of Nepal took decision to establish Consulate General of Nepal in Jeddah in 2011 A.D. The Consulate General of Nepal in Jeddah was formally inaugurated on 28 August 2014, by His Excellency, Uday Raj Pandey, former ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to its establishment, Nepalese Nationals in western region of Saudi Arabia were receiving services from The Embassy of Nepal in Riyadh.
Jurisdiction
Its jurisdiction stretches from Tabuk (1200 km north west from Jeddah) to Najran. (700 Km south east from Jeddah). It covers seven provinces namely Mecca, Madina, Tabuk, Al Baha, Asir, Jizan and Najran. It includes city like Jeddah, Mecca, Taif, Rabik, Yanbu, Madinah, Tabuk, Abha, Khamis, Najran etc.
